Ethereum Co-Founder is now working with Atari after share price soars 60 percent

CO-FOUNDER of Ethereum and Crypto wallet Jaxx, Anthony Di Lorio, has been confirmed to be working on Atari’s new cryptocurrency.

The crypto-enthusiast and entrepreneur has been named as an honorary co-founder of the Atari blockchain project, he believes in the project so much he was even willing to invest a chunk of his own capital.

Anthony said: “As someone who grew up in the Atari age, and who understands the importance of how products are designed and developed, it’s extremely encouraging to see teams with vast experience creating systems that are not just user-friendly, but scalable and functional,”

No details have yet been released about the token. However, It is believed that it’s designed to be used in digital gaming platforms, another token in development by the platform, Pong token, will be used for online casinos.

Declaring their crypto plans in February, shares in Atari surged more than 60% following their announcement. CEO and Chairman Frederic Chesnais emphasised how the company sees blockchain figuring prominently in their future:

CEO and Chairman, Frederic Chesnais explained the future of blockchain being used by the company, he said: “Blockchain technology is poised to take a very important place in our environment and to transform, if not revolutionize, the current economic ecosystem, especially in the areas of the video game industry and online transactions.”
